QC Manager
A Durban based leading manufacturer in the Heat Exchanger, Pressure Vessel and Sugar industries seeks to appoint a Quality Control Manager. The successful candidate’s responsibilities would include: •Management of all QC function •Responsibility for the QC inspectors / standards room / QC clerks  •NDT co-ordination  •AIA liaison   •Welding store (systems compliance only)   •Review of NDE related SPI’s (periodically)  •Compilation of technique sheets. Requirements: •At least 5 years experience in a similar position  •A good understanding of heat exchanger / pressure vessel manufacturing   •Minimum SAIW Level 2 qualification  •A self motivator with good leadership abilities  •Good understanding of NDE procedures. The above position is a permanent position and the company is prepared to negotiate an attractive remuneration package with the suitable candidate. Application letters and detailed CVs can be forwarded to :The Human Resources Manager, Box 301, Durban, South Africa. 4000, or faxon 0865889536 or e-mail hr@elgin.co.za CLOSING DATE : 26 May 2009
