Technical Support Analyst
We currently have an opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to join our IT Delivery team based in Saudi Arabia.  The IT Support Analyst will primarily be responsible for providing basic IT support for internal users. Other Responsibilities include:Use basic analysis techniques to troubleshoot and resolve incidents as well as assisting in performing root cause analysis on problems.Conduct regular interaction with IT users using basic customer skills and communication skills.Participate in IT projects and work collaboratively with team members.Work with other support functions on projects and activities related to IT.Liaise with partners and vendors on IT related user support.Conform with IT processes and ensuring that all incidents are addressed efficiency and proper system logging is maintained. Key Responsibilities:Resolution of end users incident and service requests in accordance with Nalco Global Client Services OLA ExpectationsPerform basic incident and problem analysis as required to resolve incidents and requestsPerform hardware and software change requests as assignedAttend end user meetings as requested to provide local support to usersWork with all Nalco IT and vendor global support teams to act as a local IT resource as required to ensure regional infrastructure is maintained at a high service availability levelInstall and maintain Nalco local infrastructure as requiredDeliver against assigned IT and business project initiatives The desired candidate will have professional experience to include:At least 3 years of IT experience including 1 year in a technical customer support role.Solid familiarity with desktop applications, including the following:
  • MS Office 2000/2003
  • Lotus Notes/MS Exchange
  • Windows 85/98/2000 XP
  • Local client configurations including, SMS, SAP, GUI
  • VPN, remote/wireless access connectivity configuration and maintenance
Well developed skills in the following areas:
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem analysis
  • Oral and written communications in English (Arabic language would be of preference)
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Presentation Skills
  • Willing to follow instructions and procedures
