Technical Sales Engineer

We currently have an opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our joint venture company Emirates National Chemicals Company LLC (Emochem) based in Abu Dhabi.   

Emochem supplies specialty oilfield chemicals and consultancy to the Southern Arabian Gulf region.  Based in Abu Dhabi but with operations throughout United Arab Emirates, Oman and Yemen,

Emochem is one of the major chemical suppliers and consultants to the National and Independent Operations Companies in this region. The Technical Sales Engineer will be primarily responsible for the management of client relations and the delivery of value adding technical solutions to client challenges. The position involves significant client facing time including frequent visits to offshore and onshore oilfield locations as well as supporting our business throughout the UAE, Oman and Yemen.  Ideally educated to degree level or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related science / engineering discipline, the individuals selected will demonstrate a sound knowledge of oilfield chemistry and its application.   

The desired candidate will have professional experience to include:
  • An individual qualified to degree level or equivalent in a scientific discipline
  • At least 2 years relevant oilfield experience
