Account Manager

We currently have an opportunity for a Chemical Account Manager to join our joint venture company Emirates National Chemicals Company LLC (Emochem) based in Abu Dhabi.  

 Emochem supplies specialty oilfield chemicals and consultancy to the Southern Arabian Gulf region.  Based in Abu Dhabi but with operations throughout United Arab Emirates, Oman and Yemen, Emochem is one of the major chemical suppliers and consultants to the National and Independent Operations Companies in this region.  Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Account Manager will be primarily responsible for the development of business both within our existing client base and with new clients within our region.  The position will also provide an opportunity to work within a newly awarded contract where significant effort is required to safely and efficiently manage the introduction of Emochem chemical applications and the management of a small team of offshore personnel employed in direct support of this business.  The position involves significant client contact including frequent visits to offshore and onshore oilfield locations.  Ideally educated to degree level or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related science / engineering discipline, the individuals selected will demonstrate a sound knowledge of oilfield chemistry and its application with at least 3 years relevant industry experience.  ·         An individual qualified to degree level or equivalent in a scientific discipline.·         At least 3 years relevant industry experience
