Executive Search Consultant

Role Description:

To be responsible for increasing fee revenue, whilst building long-term relationships with clients and candidates, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.  Demonstrating excellence in the role of Executive Search Consultant through continues achievement of targets and testimonials. Assist in consolidating the Company's Executive Search for Strategy, Consulting and Project Management in the UAE market, and to establish and promote its reputation as a trusted and effective source of Strategy, Consulting & Project Management Recruitment Services to relevant professionals and to the business community.

 

Job Function & Responsibilities: 

         Business Development
  • Assist in the selling of retained assignments with management.
  • Taking ownership for global search assignments on behalf of clients.
  • Arranging client visits, and efficiently promoting the Company at meetings through use of influential presentation skills and relationship building.
  • Telephone canvassing of clients to generate leads and job orders in the UAE.
  • Maintaining and developing client database through marketing activities such as keeping in regular contact through telephone and arranging client mailings, whilst also identifying new clients through the course of your day to day activities.
  • Following up sales leads passed from candidates, clients, industry journals, business news, and from internal resources of the company.
  • Promote the services of, and pass on leads to the Company’s Global Executive Search function as a solution for any senior and / or specialist vacancies encountered.
  • In the course of your duties, gather leads for other Company’s industry desk whilst promoting the firm as a ‘total solutions provider’ for companies with cross-discipline requirements.
  • Take responsibility for and develop new key accounts in the office and work with relevant consultants to cross sell and cement relationships.

Applicant Management & Generation

  • Preparation of recruitment marketing including writing of adverts and identification of most effective advertising media for the Executive Search desk to attract candidates locally and globally.
  • Effective pre registration and screening of applicants.
  • Interviewing all relevant applicants.
  • Proactive marketing of registered Strategy, Consulting & Project Management MPC’s (Most Placeable Candidates)
  • Assisting in search assignments in conjunction with the Company’s Global Executive Search where relevant to the Strategy & Advisory desk in terms of research and approach.
  • Utilise the company’s website as candidate generation and management tool (future).
  • Promote and develop awareness of the Company’s Executive Solutions Strategy, Consulting & Project Management in the UAE market.

Job Filing & Client Management

  • Take and record comprehensive job and person specifications as appropriate.
  • Pre select and sell candidates over the phone.
  • Short list and submit CV’s or candidate profiles as appropriate.
  • Arranging interviews where appropriate.
  • Negotiate best rates and sell Terms of Business by highlighting the effectiveness of the services of the company.
  • Aftercare all temporary and permanent starters/client and applicants.
  • Offer/interview and resignation management.
  • Client visits.
  • Sell on/offline solutions.
  • Provide interview feedback to clients/candidates.
  • Gain retained business and / or exclusivity.
  • Manage both candidates and clients expectations throughout the entire process as directed by your management team and in internal training.

Business Planning & Internal Activities

  • Attend all office/regional team meetings.
  • Attend all company training sessions and complete any training tasks set.
  • Compile monthly/quarterly business plans for approval by manager.
  • Provide activity and other reports as requested.
  • Escalation to the management teams any areas of concern for your desk that would affect the expected performance as soon as you are aware of any potential issues.
