QA/QC Manager (French Speaking)

My client is one of the leading construction contractors, currently listed within the top ten worldwide. They currently have an urgent requirement for a QA/QC manager to be based in Morocco.


POSITION: QA/QC Manager (project site based) in charge of the project quality department.

POSITION REPORTS TO: Project Manager


QUALIFICATIONS: BSc Degree, Civil Engineering. Registered Quality System Assessorship, IRCA or equivalent will be considered as a plus. Additional qualifications and training pertaining to Quality Management are considered essential.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE: Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction QA/QC with at least 10 years experience in a hands on quality or position in the EPC civil contracting industry with preference in residential complexes, luxurious hotels, high class/ high rise buildings.

The candidate should have proven experience in the following fields:

· Setting up and monitoring quality systems including Quality Control Procedures and  plans for high rise/ high class building construction projects
· Supervising a multi-discipline team of QC Inspectors on site
· Perform internal quality audits
· Handle all quality issues with project management assisting in quality improvement initiatives
· Liaise with the Consultant/Client on quality issues

The right candidate must also have the ability to communicate well at all levels within the Project. In addition, the candidate must possess good planning, presentation and organizational skills, the vision to identify quality improvement opportunities and the ability to achieve results through motivation and team working. The position also involves setting up and providing quality training for the project personnel.
