Job Summary

A key team member to help grow the technology practice within a large global consultancy by:
­- supporting tactical system developments.
­- advising CEO/Board Level Clients on the technical content of high level strategy projects.

Role Description:

General Management Consultancy within technology field. To actively co-operate with other members of the team in defining and solving customer’s business and technical needs through non standard and bespoke solutions. To initiate and co-ordinate data gathering, analysis, interviewing, report preparation and presentation. To assist other business units by providing technical depth in the latest generation of key technologies. Programme manage small to large engagements. Entrepreneurial environment - will be required to provide input/lead proposal & marketing efforts.

Candidate Requirements:

The Associate must demonstrate the ability to:
Perform a robust analysis of strategic and technical requirements, perform technical and functional design and understand the business implications of technical decisions.

Strong Project management skills – must have full Systems Development Lifecycle experience

Demonstrate an wide range of technical knowledge; including Enterprise Architecture, Web Services, Business Intelligence technologies and approaches

Be self-motivated and capable of developing innovative approaches to difficult issues.

Have a clear presence, with a personality that creates immediate respect.

Be a strong team player with polished communication and Client handling skills.

Show a clear understanding of the consulting process.

Build effective customer and supplier relationships.

Demonstrate good interpersonal and influencing skills.

Travel extensively.

Qualifications:

Degree qualified; Higher degree preferred. MBA, PhD desirable

At least 4-7 years experience in a technical position, including design and development within Big 5 consultancy or Fortune 500 Industrial
