Our client is one of the leading holding companies listed in Saudi Arabia, operating across the kingdom with a multicultural workforce of 7,000+

They operate prestigious Supermarkets, Hypermarkets & Convenience stores as well as wholesale stores and have positioned themselves in prime locations covering large demographic areas. They also own and operate world class shopping malls with family entertainment centers throughout the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate GM of Operations to join its growing team in Riyadh. If you have worked in operations before and have experience within Family/ Kids Entertainment, then this may be the opportunity you have been looking for.

OVERVIEW

 

Overseeing the management of shopping malls and the development of operational procedures suitable for malls and develop strategies for the development, maintenance and the high demand of tenants and shoppers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Develop both business and functional strategies

·         Oversee the budget development and anticipate the sector’s expenses

·         Develop criteria for measuring the performance and productivity of certain departments

·         Prepare plans, programs and operating procedures for the centers and evaluate their performance

·         Develop and implement employment policy procedures

·         Supervise promotional plans and publicity events

·         Ensure the center’s standards are maintained to guarantee a clean and healthy atmosphere for both shoppers and workers

·         Develop and oversee the pool’s maintenance procedures

·         Identify the operational cost per square metre in the pool

·         Implement any necessary improvements, fixtures or decorations

·         Ensure that tenants adhere to the guidelines set out by the company

·         Prepare special and periodic reports on the progress of work in the sector

·         Identify training needs for employees and evaluate the training’s results

KEY SKILLS

 

·         Ability to report to Chairman

·         Problem solving & analysis

·         Communication skills

·         Personal Organisation

·         Ability to create good relations with customers and investors

·         Create a positive work environment to ensure maximum staff efficiency

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

 

·         University degree in relevant field – MBA is a plus

·         Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position

·         Fluent Arabic is essential
