Vice President of Business Development/Sales
Our client is a fast growing Telecom Company providing Network Solutions and specializing in Service and Revenue Assurance. The company is involved in various major projects with leading telecommunications equipment vendors and operators, continuously delivering professional engineering services. OVERVIEW OF ROLE:  The ideal candidate would have previous experience working for a Telecom’s Operator or supporting a Telecom’s Equipment / Software Vendor.Reporting directly to the CEO the Vice President for Business Development will be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies for the company’s telecom and data networking products/ services to meet agreed targets and objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  ·         To drive sales of both product & services·         To set up a new business development unit within the company·         To supervise all sales/marketing, advertising and promotional material and activities.·         Responsible for the marketing of company products and services to the right market whether B2B or B2C. ·         Demonstrate technical marketing skills and company’s product knowledge.
  • To develop and execute marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services. This should detail all activities to meet agreed company objectives. To research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized.
  • To achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media.
·         To manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. ·         To conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products. To evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed.  To establish marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services.·         To establish strategic global partner relationships with all multinational companies.  To maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.·         To develop and recommend pricing strategy for the company products and services which will result in the greatest share of the market over the long run. ·         Supervising, motivating and monitoring sales team performance·         Allocating areas, setting budgets/ targets for sales executives·         Identifying and perusing sales opportunities, maintaining good relationship with customers (which may include actual selling)·         Maintaining detailed knowledge of the company’s products or/and services and of what competitors are doing   ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:   ·         Marketing experience, ability to develop & drive marketing strategy·         Extensive Telco’s Sales background·         Experience managing, motivating & driving sales teams ·         Experience with ‘long sales cycles’·         Ability to think ‘long term’ / see the big picture BENEFITS: ·         Salary open to negotiation depending on experience·         Excellent benefits package includes high quality transport and accommodation allowance·         Visa arranged
