Our client is focusing on emerging technologies within the UAS field, and building an R&D Capability in the Gulf region to compete with global systems integrators. Initially this will be UAV/UAS, but with a view to moving to Advance Ground Vehicles as well as Sea Vehicles also. The company will have as its principal activities the design, development, manufacturing, and integration of unmanned aerial vehicle systems, in addition to after sales support in the UAE and globally.

Role Overview Our client is in need of software engineers to develop mission critical software for unmanned aerial systems. The chosen candidates will be involved in developing software for HMI (Human Machine Interface) purposes as well as developing Kernels and OS for embedded applications. Key Candidate Requirements Minimum of B.Sc in Software and computer engineering. Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a software engineer. Fluent in C/C++. Experience developing mission critical software for unmanned aerial vehicles. Experience developing software for HMI (Human Machine Interface) purposes. Experience with developing Kernels and OS for embedded applications. Familiar with serial communication protocols such as Ethernet and CAN. Experience with development methodology for mission critical software such as, requirement capture, software design documentation, software testing, configuration control, ..etc. Familiarity the DOORS tools for software requirements capture is a definite plus.
