Quality Control Manager
·         Plans, coordinates, and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards: Develops and analyses statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product. Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. Directs, through immediate personnel, workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products. Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability. May investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality. ·         Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees. Evaluates and verifies employee’s performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques. ·         Indentifies NDT operators’ development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.  Maintains records, prepares reports and composes correspondence relative to the work. Analyses case records and information, reports, evaluate the final product.·         Analyses the nature and cause of errors to identify areas needing improvement in the department’s processes and systems for determining eligibility. Reviews, analyses and resolves contested case reports. ·         Use developed techniques to elicit cooperation and participation in potentially volatile situation. Serves as a liaison with staff and management concerning error trends and problem areas.
