Our client is one of the leading holding companies listed in Saudi Arabia, operating across the kingdom with a multicultural workforce of 7,000+

They operate prestigious Supermarkets, Hypermarkets & Convenience stores as well as wholesale stores and have positioned themselves in prime locations covering large demographic areas. They also own and operate world class shopping malls with family entertainment centers throughout the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Quality Manager to join its growing team in Riyadh. If you have experience within quality management and have worked within Family/ Kids Entertainment, then this may be the opportunity you have been looking for.

OVERVIEW

Manage all the activities related to Quality Control and Assurance for the company in line with the quality specification of Saudi Arabia. To ensure the application of updated quality management systems in an effective manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Develop budget estimates and manage expected expenses

·         Adjust the management expenses within budget

·         Raising the technical performance of the management and control and set standards for measuring performance and productivity of the departments

·         Develop the company's business in line with the specifications of international quality, and create profitability and customer/staff satisfaction

·         Monitor the implementation of ISO systems and all components of the quality system

·         Review and improve key processes in the quality management system and supervise technical audits on the standard operating procedures

·         Develop plans and programs aimed at creating environments suitable for the application of total quality to put the customer first and propose training courses for staff members and oversee their delivery and evaluation

·         Assess the level of quality of services provided by the company to customers

·         Identify the different areas of operations that need improvement

·         Oversee the review of the quality management system adopted in the company

·         Ensure occupational safety and development of procedures for working within a secure environment and maintain the integrity of the buildings, staff and visitors, and to ensure that there is no exposure to health risks whatsoever

·         Prepare annual evaluations of subordinates and approve them in a timely manner with an indication of the necessary recommendations

KEY SKILLS

·         Knowledge of quality management and quality systems (both Saudi Arabian and global)

·         Knowledge of matters relating to occupational health and safety, and environmental protection

·         Competence in all types of standard international certificates

·         Standard computer skills, including statistical analysis programs

·         Ability to write policies and procedures

·         Ability to train subordinates

·         Supervisory and managerial skills

·         Accurate planning and organization skills

·         Leadership skills

·         Creative thinking

·         Ability to coordinate and follow-up

·         Ability to make decisions and solve problems

·         Ability to manage change

·         Excellent time management

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

·         Degree in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)

·         Minimum of 8 years experience in similar position

·         Fluent Arabic and English is essential

·         Retail experience is advantageous
