Our client is a leading design house with locations across the Middle East. They have an excellent reputation for their specialised graphics using contemporary and traditional Arabic styles

The company works with various clients across the region including business print, ad campaigns, cover designs and cultural publications. They have a very strong in house team of designers, artists, photographers, writers and more to provide a full service to clients matching the required brief. A truly passionate and innovative company to be a part of.

We are looking for an experienced Business Manager to head up the team in Jeddah.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The Business Manager’s main task will be to lead the business development of
the company’s four offices by analysing the current status quo, presenting and implementing plans to increase profitability and productivity.

The Business Manager will report directly to the Director of the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Examine the cost and profit structure and implement new plans to increase profitability

·         Study the work flow and reporting system and work on increasing the efficiency of the business module

·         Take on the responsibility of recruitment and develop an improved hierarchy system that best suit the company

·         Report work progress to the Director and  forsee issues that are effecting delivery

·         Learn about the company’s capacity, reputation and capabilities and set an annual plan to increase its sales through new market penetrations

·         Supervises the day to day work of all departments

·         Directs the client servicing team and provides leadership and guidance to all projects, from conceptual phase to implementation and delivery

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Basic Human Resources knowledge as well as business consultancy experience very welcome
• Must have held a role in a communication agency (either branding, PR, or advertising…) for at least 8 years

·         Must have been in a Director/ Leader position for at least 4 years

·         Must have experienced business development duties. Business consultant candidates are desired

·         Arabic speaking candidates & Western expats only

·         A business degree from a reputable university. Masters is a plus

·         Excellent language skills

·         Flexibility to be based mainly in Jeddah and to travel as necessary to Riyadh, Khobar and Beirut

KEY SKILLS

• Must have a certain affinity with the arts of design, publishing, and/or advertising
• Should be able to see the needs of the culture and to able to see the artistic and creative potential of the company
• Should be able to contribute in improving the company’s working procedures, as well as enhancing the overall organizational structure

• Salary information should be used as a guide only and will reflect experience
• Up to $80k - $110k USD per annum base salary
• + Bonus on overall performance
• In addition to this accommodation and transport allowance
