SECURITY COUNTRY MANAGER

Our client is a leading company specializing in Retail across Kuwait and the Middle East. They have divisions including Supermarkets, Convenience stores, Restaurants, Telecoms and Fashion Retail. They are currently expanding across the GCC region with new launches planned across various countries in prime locations.

We are looking for an experienced Country Security Manager and an Assistant Country Security Manager to manage the security process.

Reporting Directly to: Security Director

OVERVIEW

To monitor the implementation of security measures at the country level and handle all security breaches in coordination with the director

Option to work in one of the following locations:
Lebanon, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervising and monitoring schedules and quality of internal customer service of Security staff
• Supporting in the definition of policy and procedures to reduce theft
• Implementing the country Security policies and procedures
• Training Security staff
• Supervising quality and standards of Security activities that impact or involve customers
• Reviewing with Security Director, HR and CCO,  internal or external action that needs to be taken when TSC staff are involved in theft
• Identifying the needs of stores, in terms of equipment and resources, and validating them with the director
• Ensuring 24 hour availability for dealing with loss and security incidents
• Implementing Security awareness programs at TSC
• Defining purchasing needs of Security systems and equipment and sharing them with CCO
• Undertaking Scheduled and Random Checks/ Visits
• Developing and recommending Security Procedures
• monitoring the implementation of security measures and ensuring that staff is adhering to the rules and regulations
• Reviewing with Store (or Area) Managers security issues in their stores and agreeing on solutions to these issues
• Participating in Store Development Committee

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years experience in similar role
• Experience in Security services
• Experience within Retail/ Supermarkets/ Grocery/ Hypermarkets very welcome
• Retail operations full knowledge of security department in the stores, restraints, and warehouse very welcome
• University Degree
• Fluent Arabic/ English

BENEFITS

• This should be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance
• Country Manager: As a guide base salary of up to $60,000 – 70,000 USD per annum + benefits
• Assistant Country Manager: As a guide base salary of up to $45,000 – 50,000 USD per annum + benefits
• Excellent benefits package
