Our client is a leading retail group representing some of the most popular, developing and diverse brands within retail. The organization covers wholesale and retail trading across international brands including clothing, shoes, homewares and perfume for men, women and children.

 

They are an expanding and developing company moving into new areas and new locations across the Middle East. We are looking for an experienced Retail Auditor to join their global homewares and furnishings retail division in tax free UAE.

 

OVERVIEW

 

The job holder will be responsible for ensuring uniformity and synergy across all company stores in areas like retail standards, customer service, visual merchandising. Job holder is responsible to visit all territories and conduct independent retail audit and submit findings to the top management.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·     Prepare a Store Audit calendar in consultation with the concept retail team for the territory

·     Prepare the Retail Audit procedure/ checklist in consultation with Strategic head and Operations head

·     Conduct/ Coordinate with third parties, for mystery audits of the stores

·     Ensure consistency and standard of various aspects on the Retail floor like visual merchandising, customer service, inventory, staffing, etc through regular store visits.

·     Major areas to be covered in the audit are:

o Shop floor & Back store

o Staffing / HR

o Logistics / Warehousing

o Inventory

o Non trading goods

o Facilities ( Accommodation/ Transportation)

·     Identify the gaps and discrepancy in the retail store experience

·     Prepare and maintain audit checklists and reports for all the visited stores

·     Compile a monthly report (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) and submit to the top management to make them aware of the store issues

·     Coordinate with the line team to help them develop and educate them in the global ways and standards of Retail

·     Submit an action plan to improve the retail experience in the territory


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

 

·         Graduate Degree essential - Business Admin/ Marketing very welcome

·         7-10 years of experience in Retail

·         6 years of experience in store operations role

BENEFITS

·         This should be used as a guide ONLY and will reflect experience levels and interview performance

·         Base salary up to 22k - 25k AED per month / $80k USD per annum

·         In addition, excellent benefits package including accommodation and transport
