We are looking for an experienced Sales &
Marketing professional to head up the Sales & Marketing department based in
Jubail, in tax free Saudi Arabia
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Reporting to: CEO
The Sales & Marketing Department Head shall be responsible for the entire marketing, sales, products related logistics & Business development functions.
He shall gain understanding of the mission, business goals, and objectives of the company. Under the leadership & guidance of CEO, he shall handsomely contribute to deliver annual, medium and long-term goals.
· Analyse sales options for each of the market segments by thorough understanding of the market/ economic prospects relevant to the products of the company as well as by analysing competitors’ strength, price trends, new products ‘ availability and the company’s share of its different market segments · He shall be responsible for the Sales forecast as well as the preparation of the annual sales/ marketing budget and monitor performance against the budget · Establish and revise a credit and collection policy as per the requirements · He shall assist the CEO in identifying new investment opportunities and shall get involved in commissioning the marketing studies for the projects identified ad doable · The department head shall strive to institutionalize business/ functional processes and systems in the SAP system for the effectiveness for the Sales, Marketing and Logistic functions · Develop and enhance cross-functional relationships with other members of the executive team such as Operations, Finance, QA/ QC and external l relationships wherever relevant with suppliers and government bodies to further the interests of the Company
· Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent is preferred · Around 15 – 20 years of professional working experience in a developed environment · Must have proven experience and a working knowledge of sales and marketing in an International market environment · Proven experience of heading the marketing/ sales function · He should have a thorough understanding of the petrochemical industry · Sound knowledge/ Experience in handling marketing/ commercial issues are essential · He should be a pragmatic, hands-on and result oriented manager with strong leadership skills and ability to provide strategic direction · Proven ability to build, develop and motivate a strong and efficient sales/ marketing organisation · Proven ability to take strategic decisions is essential · Open to all nationalities

· Mature executive with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong professional relationships in a multi cultural environment · Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills · Open to ideas and suggestions · Excellent leadership skills · Strong result oriented approach · Strong strategic and conceptualisation skills · Is accomplished at conflict resolution and management internally in the organisation and externally with business partners – customers and suppliers · Should be committed with high level of integrity
BENEFITS
· Salary will depend on experience levels and this should be used as a guide only · Total package up to $165k USD per annum/ 52k SAR including accommodation and transport allowance · In addition Bonus/ Insurances/ Flights/ Phone
