Training Manager

 

Our client specialises in the provision of planning, design and management services for infrastructure development worldwide. With interests in transportation, water, maritime and property, the company is undertaking commissions in over 70 countries from a network of more than 70 offices. They are now in need of an experienced Training Manager who will take an active part in helping them achieve their ambitious plans for growth over the next few years.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop new and innovative training delivery methods and assist in the development of the companies training systems.

  • Develop and present business plans to influence senior management regarding appropriate training strategies.

  • Conduct needs analyses and working with business partners to determine training needs and solutions.

  • Provide leadership and direction for a small team of trainers and administration staff, review resources and assessment tools and coordinate activities in line with the policies and goals of the business.

  • Coordinate all classroom instruction, including New Hire and Continuing Education classes.

  • Pro-actively seek new ways to manage training rollout, tracking, and trainee performance.

  • Design and coordinate the delivery of training programs to all levels of the organization.

  • Implement metrics to determine the effectiveness of training programs.

  • Utilizing multiple media to implement planned training initiatives to include live training and e-Learning.

 

Qualifications

  • Any professional Certificates in Training and Design

  • Degree / Masters in HR

  • Examples of Management Development Programmes and Delivery

  • English essential and Arabic Desirable

  • 5 years experience as a Training Manager
