INTERNAL TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Internal Training & Knowledge Transfer Manager to join the team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Reporting to: Executive Manager Business Support

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Team management

·   Ensure direct reports receive continuous training in relevant fields (e.g. presentation skills, training material design, etc)

 

Unit strategy

·   Outline the functional long term strategy for Business Segment training and knowledge management needs

·   Outline roadmap requirements to achieve long term strategy and involve relevant stakeholders (e.g. IT for knowledge platform development)

·   Increase cross-departmental collaboration efforts (e.g. Sales employees training Business Care Account Management employees on dealing with customer issues)

·   Set budget for training and knowledge management requirements

 

Training

·   Consolidate and approve training requirements from all department heads within Business Sales (SME, Government & Large Enterprise), Business Care, and Business Marketing

·   Approve the prioritization of training needs – documented in an annual training plan

·   Guide the development of training materials

·   Assign support staff with relevant expert sources to optimize training materials (e.g. negotiation expert for training on negotiation skills)

·   Approve training materials

·   Approve consolidated trainee schedule

·   Approve determination of whether trainings should be conducted by Internal Training & Knowledge Transfer FTEs, departmental FTEs or outside trainers

·   Ensure trainings are conducted to a high standard

·   Assess trainee training feedback for future trainings

 

Knowledge transfer

·   Support standardization of knowledge sharing platforms to be leveraged across departments

·   Approve the annual roadmap for content development and sharing

·   Support cross functional knowledge sharing

·   Support the development of a knowledge transfer program within the respective departments – and potentially cross departmental if applicable

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor in Business Management
  • 3-5 years of experience with at least 2 years of experience in developing training materials and conducting trainings, and 1 year in team management
  • Good knowledge of ICT solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
  • PC literate
  • Fluent and literate in Arabic and English
  • Saudi nationals only to apply
