LOGISTICS SERVICES MANAGER

Riyadh

Our client is a leading retail group of companies operating across Saudi Arabia. They operate across the Kingdom with a large multicultural workforce and many retail sales outlets.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Services Manager to lead their growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Definition/ implementation of the logistics strategy: in sourcing or outsourcing, number and location of warehouses, transport means, distribution schemes

·         Management and optimization of global distribution costs: co negotiation with suppliers (with Purchasing)

·         Physical management of inventory/products

·         Inventories, FIFO, Service level agreements with industrial function on quarantine, finished products availability (after quality check) , Deployment plan execution

·         If relevant: management of relationships with Third party logistics suppliers: Contract definition (with purchasing), Contract follow up (KPIs, performance animation...)

·         Manage and develop logistics resources/ teams

·         Contribute with customer service to customer partnerships/ relations

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

·         10 years of experience; some or all of which has been in the Supermarkets, Food or FMCG sector

·         Strong experience in distribution and warehousing of food stuff

·         Excellent interpersonal communication skills

·         Excellent PC skills, email, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint
