Job description: 

• The role is to assist the project team in overseeing the functional engineering performance of the project.

• Maintain the project Submittal Log and expedites approval for submittals.

• Perform submittal reviews and coordinates submittals with subcontractors and vendors.

• Maintains the contractors’ RFI for each project

• Works closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager resolving design issues that arise on the project site.

• Provides close coordination and interface with Site Field Engineers. 

• Reviews architectural and engineering drawings to monitor compliance with specifications, regulations and local codes.

• Support the project manager in developing cost effective plan and schedule for projects.

• Maintains all necessary licenses, NOC’s and permits.

• Evaluates and reports site progress and help to resolve design issues.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as Office Engineer Estimator or Field Engineer- required

• Experience in projects involving civil, architectural, electrical, telecommunication and instrumentation and control.

• Prior experience working in Middle East or Persian Gulf area.

• Minimum of 7 years overall industry experience.

• Graduate of four-year university BSc degree program in construction management, building construction, engineering or engineering management.

• Prior experience working in multicultural environment.

• Fluent in English

• Experience with Primavera and other project management software such as expedition, infoworks or similar programs.
