The Senior Estimator’s responsibility is to create an accurate prediction of the project cost, prepare estimate format template and standardize formulation of overhead and indirect costs. The role also involves compiling accurate quantity take-offs, quantity surveys of materials, labor, and equipment to build an accurate construction estimate.

Prepare comprehensive conceptual estimates, review estimates prepared by the estimators, survey the local market and build a pricing library of rates.

Prepare change order estimates and review estimates prepared by the estimators and supervise the estimating group of the Project Controls department.

Qualifications

•Graduate of a four-year degree program in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, or engineering management.

•A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the Middle East region.

•Ten years of experience in estimating/quantity surveying with a quantity surveying firm or a contractor on construction projects.

•Fluent English.

•Experience with estimating software packages such as WinQS,MC2, ProEst or Timberline.

•Familiarity with construction cost indices such as Richardson, Means, etc.
