Our client is a Leading Travel corporation with a strong presence in a variety of locations across the Middle East. They have an excellent reputation and are world renowned with an exciting and dynamic growth plan for 2011.

We are looking for an experienced PRODUCT MANAGER to be based in Kuwait.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The Product Manager is responsible for developing marketing plans and implementing product strategies across countries and various distribution channels. He will be responsible for communication activities, marketing programs as well as brand activation programs. Report to: Vice President Marketing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Analyze market data, identify market trends and forecast demand. A good knowledge in market segmentation and targeting is required

·         Monitor, analyze and evaluate competitor’s products and packages in the various markets

·         Develop effective marketing strategies to promote products across various distribution channels, and throughout different countries

·         Develop marketing plans, including product strategy,  positioning, pricing strategies, financial analysis, and marketing programs

·         Develop advertising strategy, media plans and various collateral material

·         Responsible for Product PR, events, exhibitions and sponsorships

·         Develop activation programs related to products

·         Direct the supply team to outsource adequate products

·         Assess the various products, create bundle packages and price them across different countries and throughout different distribution channels

·         Customization of products and packages across countries and across different target audiences

·         Insure loading of product into the various distribution channels and making sure all is properly updated

·         Provide product training to the sales team

·         Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

·         Minimum 6 years experience in product development

·         Marketing work experience, preferably from the travel industry or banking industry

·         Must speak fluent English and Arabic

·         University degree from a recognizable university

·         Bachelor degree in Business-related subject
