INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER

Our client is one of the leading retail companies in Saudi Arabia, operating across the Kingdom. They have a large multicultural workforce and operate many of the most well respected food retail stores, supermarkets and hypermarkets.

We are now looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager/ Assistant Manager to be based in Riyadh.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform risk assessment within the organisation to facilitate the determination of priorities of audit area
• The preparation of the Annual Internal Audit Plan
• Determine the audit scope & objectives, development of internal audit checklist for each area of audit assignment
• Perform the field work of Internal Audits
• Ascertain that the internal audit reports are substantiated by proper & adequate evidence
• Ascertain that the audit recommendations are appropriate
• Arrange for exit meeting to discuss the audit findings & report with auditee
• Participate in the system review assignments for recommending proper & adequate internal control systems to be adopted

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree preferred
• 7 years experience in internal audit management
• At least 2 years with any of the big four
• Experience in financial or operational field is preferable 
• Should be strong in Audit Principles
• Supermarket, Hypermarket and Food Retail backgrounds are preferable
• Open to all nationalities
