Our client is a leading retail group of companies operating across Saudi Arabia. They operate across the Kingdom with a large multicultural workforce and many retail sales outlets with a focus on Hypermarkets, Supermarkets and Grocery stores.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT Manager to lead their growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

JOB OVERVIEW

To plan, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the IT Department

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Develop Information Systems strategy in support of the company’s mission and core objectives

·       Manage, control and motivate the staff of the Information Technology department

·       Develop an annual business plan and operating budget for the department and monitor the implementation of these to ensure that the financial targets are met

·       Negotiate service level agreements with both internal and external customers and service providers and monitor service delivery to ensure the agreed targets and standards are met

·       Accountable for the management, mentoring and career development of IT staff

·       Defines and seeks approval for the level of IT resources required to meet these goals and prioritize and schedules major projects

·       Manage the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures and standards relating to information and telecommunication systems

·       Monitor network scrutiny and supervise the entire network system of the organization

·       Responsible for researching and evaluating new technologies

·       Manage, attend and participate in staff meetings and related activities; attend workshops to keep up to date with Information Technology issues

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

·       10 years experience leading an Information Systems function

·       At least 3 years experience in the retail sector (FMCG/ Supermarkets/ Food Retail is preferable)

·       Experience in JDA and Dynamics is a must

·       Educated to degree level in Computer Science or related field
