TECHNICAL MANAGER Leading Cable Manufacture Company

Our client is a leading manufacturer and exporter of Power and Telecommunication Cables. They have developed a firm position in the wire and cable industry through the modernization of their production facilities and overhauled both technical and quality standards.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join their team of in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The area is tax free (for most nationalities) and has excellent compound living to enjoy a great work/ life balance.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise all technical activities undertaken by Technical Engineers.
  • Conduct necessary study to optimize cable construction as well as optimizing material cost including different PVC formulations.
  • Participate in all seminars, conferences concerning cables & related subjects.
  • Maintain close co-ordination with all concerned departments and provide technical assistance to Commercial Department, Export Department, Quality Control Department, High Voltage Section, Copper Rod Plant & Carpentry etc. regarding all technical matters.
  • Provide necessary training for Engineers on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Represent the group in the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) Committee & also other Gulf electrical organizations.
  • Handle technical disputes with customers (Customer complaints) in coordination with other concerned departments.
  • Maintain good relationship with all major customers
  • Approve technical documents.

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 10-15 years experience in Electrical cable design (LV,MV,HV cable design and Quality control)
  • Knowledge of the latest cable specifications and design constructions.
  • Sound knowledge about cable production and testing.
  • Experience with Network Design (Transmission and Distribution)
  • Good knowledge about Quality Assurance and Quality Control
  • Languages: English and Arabic.
