QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER Leading Cable Manufacture Company Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Our client is a leading manufacturer and exporter of Power and Telecommunication Cables. They have developed a firm position in the wire and cable industry through the modernization of their production facilities and overhauled both technical and quality standards.

 

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to join their team of in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

 

The area is tax free (for most nationalities) and has excellent compound living to enjoy a great work/ life balance.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To review and approve raw material specifications-TTDs.
  • To approve performance of new suppliers as per procedure.
  • To approve vendor performance report and timely supplier notifications through Purchase.
  • To review applicable customer specifications and approve inspection and test plans for raw materials, stage wise in-process inspections, final testing & type testing of products.
  • To ensure performance/functional testing on all stages of production/raw materials as per procedures and applicable work instructions.
  • To approve monthly quality bulletins.
  • To ensure effective control of non-conforming products at all stages of production as per procedure and ensure effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • To ensure effective preventive actions.
  • To ensure calibration, approve calibration schedule, calibration control sheet & calibration extension sheet of instruments and liaison with external calibration agencies.
  • To liaise with customer on Quality feedback, customer complaints/external inspection agency for inspection.
  • To maintain traceability of items where needed.
  • To maintain quality records related to product manufacture.
  • To approve new testing and calibration equipment.

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Well versed with cable specifications / standards (LV Cable, MV Cable, Underground HV cable and Overhead conductors)
  • Knowledge of cable manufacturing processes
  • Familiar with QA systems

·         Education: Bachelor of electrical Engineering

·         15 years within the same industry

·         Languages: English & Arabic

 

KEY SKILLS

·         Computing: Office Suite & General Use

  • Good managerial and leadership skills
