Our client is a leading Insurance and Reinsurance Company, conducting cooperative insurance activities.
Our client is looking for professional and experienced Regional Managers to be based in either their Jeddah or Al Khobar offices.
Reporting to: AVP Business Development
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Strategically manage, develop and monitor the Region's ongoing performance against targeted & defined plans for production, underwriting profitability & service. Report findings to AVP Business Development at least weekly · Manage the Company's operating funds and cash allocated to the Region according to the financial policies & procedures · Ensure that Managers & appropriate staff in the Region operate within the documented Head Authority limits set (e.g. underwriting & claims functions) · Develop business strategies for the Region, e.g. production targets, the Business Plan & the Budget, utilizing contributions from the appropriate management & staff in the Region & Head Office Department(s), as required · Manage for the active & effective performance of the Region's Management Team. This includes receiving, monitoring & reviewing individual members' reports in operational performance, business-related data & any other useful information · Manage the Region's human resource requirements, e.g. recruitment, development & training, PMS, manpower/resource planning. (Utilise Head Office resources as appropriate) · Manage & co-ordinate the handling of all complaints received via the Regional Management Team members according to Head Office procedures, & in liaison with the Complaints System · Promote & foster good client, corporate, Insurance Sector & Commercial relations for Regional &/or National competitive advantage. This will include developing & enhancing insurance awareness in the community, whilst feeding back any useful market information derived · Encourage & develop the regular flow of useful information across the Region to all staff, primarily via the Regional Management Team, e.g. performance, market intelligence, achievements, targets, strategy, etc.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
· University Degree qualification · Preferred ACII or equivalent qualification · At least 9 years in the Insurance Industry · Minimum 3 years in a Managerial position · Preferred training in various aspects of Insurance; Claims, Underwriting, Reinsurance & Legal · Strong background in customer service principles/relationship-building, marketing & sales & Branch management · Experience & ability to manage a multi-channel environment · Knowledge of operational optimization a plus · Excellent English
