This an opportunity to lead a newly formed and dynamic Healthcare consulting team, on behalf of one of the largest company groups in the United Arab Emirates The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the venture including management of the profit and loss statement for the company’s business, as well as the related resources associated with the company operation. In this capacity, the COO carries responsibility for integrating the strategic plan of the organization with the operations and provides management oversight for the development of high quality, cost effective and integrated programs within the organization. The management portfolio held by this leader is notably diverse, with corresponding broad organizational implications and complexity, characterized by substantial scope of responsibility in this respect.
1. Financial accounting, funding and Control: Responsible for a team of finance professionals overlooking the functions of financial controls, MIS reporting, payables and receivable, capital investment management.
2. Government / Public Relations: Responsible for a team that issues, renews and revokes commercial licensing, work permits, etc. in a free zone setting
3. Healthcare IT and Informatics: Responsible for a team that is building an integrated healthcare campus network using the EHR methodology, CRM and office help desk / supplies.
4. Legal: Responsible for an in-house team developing the governing regulations for the company, dispute resolution, medical liability coverage and commercial / contractual activities

6. Interface with Corporate Office and subsidiary entities of holding company
7. Interface with Center for Healthcare Planning and Quality (CPQ), HMSDC and HMI
8. Appropriately represent the company at the Corporate and Government Directors level
9. Function as an effective liaison and intermediary between the company and the private tenants and Clinic.
10. Oversee major workforce and resource decisions for the company
11. Where appropriate, represent the company to the external market, as well as internally through the application of community relations and marketing activities.
12. Develop new business strategies to enhance market share and improve overall performance.
13. Work through the management team serving as a resource to help reduce costs, enhance revenues, achieve effective utilization and quality goals and objectives, analyze and utilize information to develop and support management decisions.
14. Communicate key information to the stakeholders of these service areas with respect to marketplace needs, the competitive environment, cost management, and customer-focused services.
15. Expand outreach activities and referral networks to ensure effective partnerships are formed which will facilitate the development of a comprehensive and geographically dispersed integrated health care system.
16. Lead and supporting key committees pertaining to these service areas.
17. Organizationally, the COO will work collaboratively with the UH, the HMSDC, DHFMR, CPQ, System administration, and the Private Diagnostic Clinic to oversee the successful implementation of a well-balanced clinical, academic, and research programs designed to ensure the operational and strategic success of UH.

Qualifications and Education:
Undergraduate education in the area of Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Finance. Post gradate education is preferred.
Experience: 15 year experience in the area of general management, administration, Finance, HR, customer management, information management and construction. Experience in the field of healthcare is preferable.
