Development Manager

 

Responsible for the conceptual and commercial success of allocated property development projects in accordance with the Strategic, Land and Project Development Plans and Business Plans. To design a Strategic Development Plan for the departments with view to optimizing revenue from the company’s fixed assets & properties through best-fit design planning and development of property.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • As a part of the Corporate Planning & Development team, take ownership of the process and its evaluation including corrective measures and action plan

  • To introduce international best practices in the project's concept, design & development processes and systems and develop optimum revenue generation potential projects within the given Master Plan

  • Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes for the company based on quality assurance & quality control

  • Collaborate extensively with the management team to develop & set policies and procedures which promote the company’s operations

  • Provide effective decision-making, leadership and team building

  • Execute establishing an ongoing relationship with pertaining Government Departments, Ministries, Foreign Embassies, and Law Firms towards establishing the company’s entity and infrastructure

  • Participate on special projects and assignments

     

     

    Qualifications

     

  • Having 15 years experience in any large multinational commercial organization in the areas of Design and development of mega construction projects (preferably mixed-use environment), of which 7 years in Senior Managerial level. Experience in funding development, strategy management, marketing or sales desired

  • Masters preferred / Bachelor’s degree is a must

  • Chartered Status Membership with professionally accredited Organization of international repute is highly desired

  • Skills in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures

  • Skills and ability to develop and implement strategic business and operating plans
