The consulting Director will develop, manage and oversee the consulting business in the region and the operational structure and processes.
As a member of the consulting services team, the position has annual revenue responsibilities to develop. Developing a relationship and closing a contract with a client has important impact on the revenue generation. This position will work in a team environment and will be subject matter expert for healthcare financial analysis, therefore there will be limited number of people reporting directly.
Accountabilities:
Develop, implement and monitor a strategic plan for the healthcare consulting.
Develop and implement the network of potential client institutions in private and public sector in the region. Travel extensively when necessary to develop these relationships.
Develop and implement a marketing and branding strategy.
Develop and manage annual departmental budget, and approve operational expenditures of the department consistent with budgetary limitations and policies. Create all policies and procedures for the operation of the consulting unit`s functions.
Establish and track financial and operational targets for each service provided by the consulting company and monitor departmental performance. Participate or lead as assigned other initiatives
Qualifications and Education: The perfect candidate will have demonstrated excellence during his or her academic career. MBA or MHA is highly preferred.
Experience: 5 years experience in healthcare financial analysis and consulting services. Previous employment experience with other top-tier consulting firms (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, etc.) is preferred. A working knowledge of the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is advantageous, but not required.
Training: Additional training on financial modeling, project management and negotiation are preferred.
Knowledge: Proven analytic abilities in healthcare provision, superb presentation skills, relationship development and extensive team management experience are essential.
